SUSTAINABILITY
All our products are created with the most environmentally friendly papers available on the market, both in terms of production and recycling.
And so that it doesn't just travel to you, it is accompanied by packaging that is carefully designed and made with love so that it has as little environmental impact as possible, that's why we use fabric envelopes and compostable envelopes.
WE WORK WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND MOST SUSTAINABLE PAPERS
STONE PAPER
WHAT IS STONE PAPER?
Stone paper does not need water, chlorine or PVC for its production, and it also generates 50% less CO2 than vegetable paper. Best of all, it is made from calcium carbonate, a very abundant substance in nature that is mainly found in rocks, and therefore we do not engage in any deforestation activities, i.e. we do not cut down any trees to create our products!
HOW IS IT PRODUCED?
To make stone paper, calcium carbonate (80%) is mixed with polyethylene (20%), a synthetic plastic that makes the whole thing tightly bound. Yes, we do use some plastic, but stone paper is still much more ecological and environmentally friendly than traditional paper, whether recycled or not. That's why it has the Cradle to Cradle Silver certificate, one of the most rigorous ecological certifications in existence, which rewards those products that have been conceived and designed in an eco-friendly way.
WHAT SUPERPOWERS DOES STONE PAPER HAVE?
WATERPROOF
It can get wet. Afterwards you only have to dry it and it will look as if nothing happened.
RESISTANT
It does not crease easily, so it stays as the first day for longer.
ANTI-GREASE
It is a natural insulator against grease, humidity and fungus. If it gets stained, it can be cleaned without any problems.
SMOOTH
It has a very pleasant texture, which provides a very fluid writing and an unequalled stimulus for one of our star senses: touch.
RECYCLABLE
It is 80% biodegradable, but as it is made of 20% polyethylene, it is important to recycle it in the yellow container.
That being said, although it can be recycled infinitely, we advise you to keep your journal locked up, you don't know how valuable it will be in a few years' time to read with your children everything you have written and learned together!
